When a new hire starts, the auto-matcher scores every active template by role × department × location and applies the most-specific match — a senior engineering template at a specific site beats a generic any-role template.
Yes. A token-secured preboarding portal gives new hires early access to content, forms, and documents before Day 1, and a scheduled preboarding email campaign reaches them at their personal email address. Preboarding plans auto-activate on the start date.
Every plan can name a mentor and a buddy, and each triggers its own assignment notification. Mentor and Buddy ship as seeded relationship types, and admins can add custom relationship types (for example a Technical Sponsor) to fit their program.
