QR & Geolocation Event Check-In — Verified attendance tracking for calendar events
Calendar events now include two independent methods for capturing verified attendance: QR code scanning and GPS geofencing. For QR check-in, organizers can display a single full-screen code at the venue or distribute per-attendee badge PDFs — each scan creates a tamper-resistant attendance record backed by HMAC signing and single-use nonces. For geo check-in, event creators set a radius around the venue; attendees check in with one tap and the platform confirms their location server-side, including anti-spoofing validation for mocked GPS, zero-accuracy signals, and impossible velocity between check-ins. Both methods write to the same attendance store, so organizers see a unified record regardless of which method each attendee used.
Use case: A training manager running a mandatory compliance session can display the QR code at the room entrance; remote-site attendees who physically gathered at a satellite office check in via geo-fence — attendance is consolidated automatically, no paper sign-in or post-event follow-up needed.

Recognition Post Boosts & Award Certificates — More ways to amplify and commemorate peer recognition
Two new capabilities extend the recognition experience. Post boosts let any employee add points (+5, +10, or +25) to a colleague's existing recognition post, drawing from their own monthly allowance — the original recipient's balance grows and both parties receive a notification. This turns a one-to-one shoutout into a team-wide moment without requiring a separate award. Award certificates are now printable directly from any recognition record: each certificate includes the award details, recipient name, and a QR code that links back to the original post, making it suitable for posting in an employee's workspace or including in a performance file.
Use case: A team lead notices a peer already received recognition for closing a difficult customer issue, and adds a boost to amplify it — the recipient receives the additional points and sees who contributed, reinforcing the team's appreciation without the manager needing to create a separate award.

Company Store Item Watches — Get notified when out-of-stock items are back in the store
Employees can now watch any store item using a heart icon on the item card or detail page. When a watched item is restocked, the platform automatically sends a notification so the employee can redeem before inventory runs out again. Watches also serve as a saved list — employees can browse their watched items from their store profile without having to search again. Admins retain visibility into watch counts per item, which can inform restocking decisions.
Use case: An employee browsing the company store sees a popular branded jacket that is currently out of stock — they watch it, and receive an inbox notification the following week when inventory is replenished, letting them redeem their points immediately.
