Leader Rounds — Structured manager rounding with a stoplight issue ledger

Leader Rounds is a new MangoApps app that brings a disciplined check-in practice to any frontline organization. Managers conduct rounds with their direct reports using configurable question templates, and every issue surfaced becomes a tracked item in a red/yellow/green stoplight ledger — one the employee who raised it can follow to closure. Coverage rolls up the full reporting hierarchy, so directors and senior leaders can see at a glance who is rounding, how frequently, and what themes are emerging across teams.

The initial release ships with full web and mobile support, due-date reminders, starter templates for common rounding programs, and team-level rollup views. Version 2 — also live today — adds automated escalation alerts when red issues age past a configurable threshold, monthly team digest emails that surface recurring themes, voice-assisted round capture on mobile for hands-free use on a clinic floor or a warehouse floor, industry-specific template packs, and calendar-pairing so rounds can be scheduled alongside existing meetings.

Use case: A district manager with fifteen store supervisors under them runs monthly rounds using a shared template; unresolved issues automatically escalate after 14 days, and a monthly digest lands in their inbox summarizing the top themes before their next regional review.

COBRA Household Management — Enroll an entire family in continuation coverage from one qualifying event

Managing COBRA continuation coverage for a terminated employee with dependents previously required submitting the same qualifying event once per family member — one submission for the employee, one for a spouse, one for each child. The participant list then displayed one row per person per plan, making a family on three plans appear as an unrelated wall of entries.

The enrollment workflow now operates at the household level. A single qualifying-event form shows all covered family members down the side and all applicable plans across the top, with a quoted premium in every cell. The quote is computed by building the real coverage records unsaved and reading what they calculate, so the figure shown before committing is identical to what gets stored — the two cannot drift. Submitting once creates the full household. The participant list groups the family into a single household row with the aggregate cost, and HR actions (invoice, offer, remove) now apply to the household rather than to each person individually.

Use case: An HR administrator processing a termination for an employee covered under three plans with a spouse and a child on two of them can review the full quoted cost for all five coverage records in a single screen and enroll the entire family with one confirmation.

Survey Archive — Retire a completed survey without deleting its responses

Surveys that have collected responses cannot be deleted — the platform intentionally blocks it to protect the data. Until now, that meant a closed or completed survey with responses had no retirement path: it stayed in the active list indefinitely. The new Archive action is available in the Actions menu for any non-draft, non-archived survey. Archiving preserves all responses and results, removes the survey from active take lists and the default index view, and makes it visible under the Archived filter for anyone who needs to reference the historical data.

Use case: An HR team closes an annual engagement survey after results have been reviewed and shared — they archive it to keep the results accessible under Archived without the survey appearing alongside current, active pulse checks.
