Public Shift Assignment Sharing — share your work schedule with anyone via a public link

Employees can now generate a shareable public link directly from their assigned shift view. The link opens a read-only page with shift details — date, time, location, and role — accessible without a login. This makes it straightforward to communicate schedule information to coordinators, clients, or family members without requiring them to have platform access.

Use case: A frontline worker needs to confirm their shift time with a rideshare service — they share the public link directly from their phone, giving the recipient an instant, accurate view of their schedule.

Shift Marketplace Applications — apply for open shifts and manage trade requests

The Shift Marketplace now supports a formal application workflow for trade-only listings. Employees browsing available listings can submit an application directly from the listing view, with the option to include a note explaining why they are a good fit. Listing owners receive all incoming applications in one place and can accept or reject each one individually. Applicants can also withdraw their application if their availability changes before a decision is made.

Use case: A part-time employee sees a desirable shift listed for trade, submits an application with a note about their availability, and the listing owner reviews it alongside other applicants before confirming the swap.
