Benefits Management App — Employee benefits enrollment with admin controls and approval workflow
MangoApps now includes a dedicated Benefits Management app where employees can browse available benefit plans, compare options side by side, and enroll directly through the platform. Administrators can configure plan details, define eligibility rules, manage open enrollment periods, and review enrollments from a centralized dashboard. Enrollment requests flow through a configurable approval workflow — designated approvers are notified automatically, can review and approve or reject requests, and automated email notifications keep employees informed at every step.
Use case: An HR administrator sets up a new health insurance plan with eligibility rules, opens enrollment for Q4, and receives an approval request when an employee enrolls — all without leaving the platform.

Edit Pending Absence Reports — Self-service corrections to absence requests before approval
Employees can now edit their own pending absence reports before a manager approves them. Previously, correcting a mistake — such as an incorrect date or absence type — required the employee to contact a manager to reject and resubmit the request. This change lets employees make those corrections themselves, streamlining the process for both employees and managers.
Use case: An employee submits a sick day request but realizes they entered the wrong date — they can now correct it directly before the manager reviews it.

Request Update for Restricted Profile Fields — HR review workflow for protected employee data changes
Employees and managers can now submit a formal change request for profile fields that are restricted from direct editing — such as home address, emergency contact, or custom HR fields. A "Request Update" link appears inline on the profile edit page for restricted fields, opening a modal where the user can submit the proposed change. HR is notified and can review, approve, or reject the request through the existing update request workflow.
Use case: An employee who has moved to a new address can submit a change request directly from their profile page — HR reviews and approves the update without any email back-and-forth.
