Recognition Approvals & Nominations API — Programmatic recognition approval and bulk nomination review

Recognition workflows can now be driven entirely through the REST API. Two new endpoint groups expose the full approvals queue — pending nominations and held peer-recognition posts — along with individual approve/reject actions and a bulk-review endpoint for processing multiple nominations at once. Both lists support search, program filtering, and overdue-only filtering, with independent pagination cursors so a reviewer can page through a long nominations list while a short posts list stays in place.

The API surface mirrors the existing web queue exactly: same authorization rules (business admins, Recognitions app admins, and managers with direct reports), same ordering, same preloads. Native mobile clients and third-party integrations can now build full recognition approval flows without requiring users to switch to a browser.

Use case: An HR manager reviewing award nominations on a mobile device can approve or reject each one — or bulk-approve an entire program's backlog — directly from the company's custom app, without opening a desktop browser.

Available in: Recognition → Team → Pending Approvals · /api/v1/recognitions/approvals, /api/v1/recognitions/nominations, /api/v1/recognitions/nomination_bulk

COBRA Notification Controls — Per-notice switches for automated COBRA participant emails

Benefits admins now have granular control over which automated COBRA notices the platform sends. A new COBRA group in Benefits › Settings › Notifications adds an on/off switch for each automated notice — overdue payment reminders, election acknowledgements, coverage summaries, and more — sitting alongside the twenty existing benefits notification switches.

Three boundaries ensure compliance is preserved regardless of what admins toggle: notices sent manually from COBRA Administration always deliver, the two legally-required disclosures (initial COBRA rights notice and coverage termination) are locked on and shown as such, and the first premium invoice at election time is never gated. Previously the only way to suppress any COBRA email was to disable all benefits notifications company-wide, which stopped every other benefits email as a side effect.

Use case: A benefits administrator wants to stop sending recurring overdue-payment reminders to participants who are known to be paying outside the system — they can now turn off that specific notice without touching election confirmations or legally-required disclosures.

Service Desk AI Reply Drafting — AI draft generation independent of AI intake triage

AI-generated reply drafts are now controlled by their own setting, separate from the AI intake triage switch. Previously, enabling AI drafts required enabling AI triage at the same time — meaning an admin who wanted human-only categorization and priority assignment had to forgo AI-written draft replies entirely. The two controls are now independent: "AI on incoming requests" governs intake triage, while a new "AI Draft Generation" section governs whether agents see suggested replies, which reply mode is active (manual, draft-for-review, or auto-send), and whether the platform searches the knowledge base before generating a draft.

Use case: A support team wants agents to receive AI-drafted replies as a starting point, but their SLA process requires a human to assign categories and priorities. Admins can now enable drafting while leaving triage fully in human hands.

Available in: Service Desk → Admin → Settings → AI → AI Draft Generation
