I-9 Compliance & Work Authorization Tracking — I-9 form tracking and work authorization expiration monitoring

HR and compliance teams can now track I-9 completion status for all employees directly within the platform, with a dedicated compliance dashboard showing incomplete forms and upcoming work authorization expirations. Automated background monitoring flags authorizations nearing their expiration date, and admins receive alerts so no document lapses go unnoticed. Secure, encrypted storage for sensitive information such as Social Security Numbers is included, with access restricted to authorized administrators.

Use case: An HR compliance officer preparing for an audit can instantly view which employees have incomplete I-9s or expiring work authorizations — and follow up directly from the dashboard without exporting data to a spreadsheet.

Preboarding Phase in Onboarding Hub — employee preboarding before Day 1

Onboarding plans now support a dedicated preboarding phase, allowing HR teams to send new hires welcome content, required reading, and tasks to complete before their official start date. Automated email notifications are sent to new hires at configurable intervals during the preboarding window, and a preboarding portal gives new employees a clear view of what to expect before Day 1. Admins can create, edit, and manage preboarding content directly within the plan management interface.

Use case: A people operations manager can schedule a welcome message, a benefits overview, and a policy acknowledgment to be delivered automatically in the week before a new hire starts — so the employee arrives prepared and the first day stays focused on introductions and culture.
