Flexible Moderation Settings

Your company can tailor how it moderates community content, whether by requiring moderator approval for all content, just for flagged content, or by using keyword triggers. You can configure moderation to be active in specific areas of the platform or assign topics to different moderators. All adjustments to these settings are tracked in an audit log for transparency.

    User-Driven Content Flagging

Users can flag content they believe should be removed, triggering a review process by moderators who can then take necessary actions. Automatic flagging is also possible through a predefined list of keywords set by admins. This dual approach ensures both user involvement and automated oversight, maintaining content integrity and community standards.

When we started to migrate content from our SharePoint sites, we could see a lot of content that hadn’t been touched in over a decade. With MangoApps, we are able to moderate the content that’s being put on the site and keep a much closer eye on it.

      Efficient Moderation Tools

Moderation is made efficient with tools that allow moderators to handle content in bulk—flagging, approving, or denying as needed. Notifications alert moderators about new submissions needing attention, limited to one notification per hour to avoid overload. Additionally, mobile app integration means moderators can act quickly–from anywhere.

      Moderation Exemptions

Certain teams or users can be exempt from moderation, and specific unlisted groups within your domain are not subject to these rules, ensuring flexibility and respect for privacy where needed. This feature allows for tailored moderation policies that can vary between different segments in your organization. These exemptions help streamline communication and content sharing among senior teams or specialized departments, enhancing efficiency without compromising governance or control.
