Getting Started

For Employees

  1. View your skills β€” Navigate to My Skills & Certifications from the employee menu to see your current skills, proficiency levels, and certification statuses
  2. Add a new skill β€” Click Add Skill, select from the available skill library, set your proficiency level, and optionally add certification dates and documents
  3. Upload certification documents β€” For skills requiring documentation, click the upload button to attach your certificate (PDF, JPG, PNG, DOC, or DOCX)
  4. Track expirations β€” Check the dashboard cards for expiring and expired certifications, and use the Renew button to submit updated certification details
  5. Explore career paths β€” Scroll to the Career Progression section to see which skills you need for your next role

For Managers

  1. Review pending verifications β€” Check the Pending Verifications queue to approve or reject skills submitted by your direct reports
  2. Monitor team certifications β€” The dashboard widget highlights team members with expired or expiring certifications needing attention
  3. View team coverage β€” Use the Staff Qualifications dashboard to see skill and certification coverage across your team
  4. Bulk verify β€” When confident in submissions, use Verify All to approve pending skills in bulk

For Administrators

  1. Build the skill library β€” Go to Admin β†’ Skills to create skills, set categories, and mark which skills require certifications
  2. Import industry templates β€” Use the Unified Skills Dashboard to import skills, role types, and role-skill mappings from your industry template
  3. Define role requirements β€” Navigate to Role Skills to set minimum proficiency levels for each role type
  4. Set up competency frameworks β€” Create frameworks under Competency Frameworks with categories, competencies, and rating scales
