Start your Harborlight Hall event shift

A practical starting point for venue staff, contractors, and event crews.

Harborlight Hall is a fictional sample venue. Before heading to a work area, identify your event and assigned zone, use the approved event-specific check-in information, and ask the event lead if your assignment or access route is unclear.

Arrival checkpoints

Use the event-specific information provided for your shift; this page does not replace local arrival or access instructions.

Identify the event
Check the event name and shift information in the approved crew briefing.
Confirm your zone
Use your assignment from the event lead; ask if the zone or handoff is unclear.
Use approved check-in details
Follow the event's authorized arrival instructions rather than relying on an old message.

Finding your way

Use local, accessible orientation materials

Use the event’s approved entrance, check-in point, and zone names when comparing your arrival instructions with local signs. If a map is unclear or has no usable text alternative, ask the event lead for directions that identify the same destinations.

If a sign, map, or direction conflicts with your assignment, ask the event lead which approved information applies. A generic venue photograph does not identify an access route.
