Choose the right starting point

For an assignment or work-area question, start with your crew leader. For a welfare or general support question, ask the worker-support contact role. If you are unsure which role fits, tell the crew leader what kind of help you need and ask to be directed to the appropriate support.

Who can help route your question

These are role descriptions for the fictional example, not named or verified contacts.

Work coordination

The crew leader is the starting point for assignment, meeting-point, and work-area reference questions.

  • Name the area or assignment you are asking about.
  • Ask who owns the current reference.

Welfare and general support

The worker-support contact role helps route a welfare or general support question to the appropriate local resource.

  • Explain the type of support you are seeking.
  • If you need help understanding the conversation, ask for language assistance.

Language assistance

Ask the crew leader or worker-support role how to reach the locally designated language-assistance route.

  • Say which information you need clarified.
  • Ask the role to repeat or explain the handoff in a way you can understand.

Support roles

Role-based examples show the responsibilities workers can ask about; they are not employee profiles.
