Find a policy and confirm its current record
Published policies available to you appear in the connected Policy Hub source below. Browse the linked records, then open the relevant record and check its title, owner, version, and effective date.
A listing or saved file is not enough to confirm currency. When its details differ from the published record, use the published record as your reference. If you cannot find a record or a key detail is unclear, note the policy title and the specific question, then use your organization's approved policy-help route.
For the difference between an update notice and an acknowledgment request, see Updates & Acknowledgment Deadlines.
Recognize the topic you need
These topic summaries help you identify relevant records; they do not filter the list or establish which policy applies to you.
Workplace
- Look for workplace and work-arrangement topics.
- Open the record and check its owner and effective date.
Information Handling
- Look for information-use, records, and privacy topics.
- Compare a saved copy with the published record.
People Practices
- Look for people, conduct, and workplace-behavior topics.
- Check the record's stated audience and scope.
If you cannot confirm a policy detail
Use the published record as the reference; route unresolved questions through your organization's approved support path.
How do I know I have the current copy?
Open the published record and compare its title, version, and effective date with the copy you have. If the details differ, return to the published record.
What if I cannot find the policy I need?
Browse the published policy links for the subject you need. For a broader search, use Policy Hub through your organization’s established app navigation. If you still cannot find a suitable record, ask through the approved policy-help route and name the topic you need.
What if the record's audience or scope is unclear?
Do not infer applicability from this company-wide hub. Note the policy title and the scope question, then request clarification through the approved policy-help route.
What if a link or record detail looks wrong?
Record the policy title and the specific link or detail that seems unclear. Use the approved correction or policy-help route rather than relying on an unverified copy.
