Prepare a clear conduct question or concern

Start with the current conduct record, then organize what you observed and the relevant context before using your organization's approved reporting route.

Separate observed facts from assumptions

Find the current code-of-conduct record through the Policy Library and check its version and effective date. The connected policy source may show company policies beyond conduct guidance, so open the record whose title and scope match your question.

For a concern, distinguish what you directly observed from what you heard or inferred. Note relevant dates, locations, and records only when known and useful. Do not alter records or circulate sensitive information outside approved channels.

Use the reporting route confirmed by your organization. This page does not promise confidentiality, a particular outcome, or a response time.

Part 2

Reporting a concern

Organize the information before you raise the concern

A concise, factual account helps the appropriate recipient understand what you are asking about.

  1. 1

    State the issue

Name the policy topic or describe the conduct concern in one clear sentence.

  2. 2

    Record what you directly observed

Use neutral wording. Separate firsthand observations from what someone else reported or what you inferred.

  3. 3

    Add relevant context

Note when and where it occurred and who or what was involved, if known and relevant.

  4. 4

    Identify related records

List relevant policy titles or records you can point to; keep any supporting materials in approved channels.
