Use the policy record as your reference

When you find a policy, check its title, version, effective date, and owner in the published record. If you have a saved or printed copy, compare its version and date with the current record before relying on it.

Worked example: In this fictional sample, a Remote Work policy record is marked “Version 3.1” with an effective date of “1 July 2026.” A saved copy marked “Version 2.4” does not match, so the employee returns to the published record rather than relying on the older copy.

Browse the Policy Library to find a record, or read how to interpret an update notice.
