Use Frontline Execution for approval work

Your access and Northstar's approval rules determine what you can do.

Open Frontline Execution to review approval requests available to your configured role. This page describes a general review approach; it does not define which requests you may approve or the actions the app will show.

If a request is missing, unclear, or outside your authority, pause and use Northstar's confirmed escalation route rather than guessing or making a commitment.

Review a request carefully

  1. 1

    Open the request

In Frontline Execution, open the relevant request available to your role.

  2. 2

    Check the details

Compare the request with the information and criteria supplied by Northstar's applicable process. Ask for clarification if a key detail is missing.

  3. 3

    Check your authority

Confirm that your role is permitted to act on this request. Do not infer approval authority from your job title alone.

  4. 4

Take an available action or escalate

Use only an action presented by the app and allowed by the confirmed process. If uncertain, leave the request unresolved and contact the designated role through the confirmed route.

Common approval questions

I expected a request but cannot find it. What should I do?

Check that you are in Frontline Execution and reviewing the relevant request area for your role. If it is still missing, use Northstar's confirmed support or escalation route; do not create a duplicate request unless the process instructs you to.

How do I know whether I can approve it?

Use Northstar's published approval rules for your location and role. If your authority is not clear, do not approve or promise an outcome; ask the designated manager or support role.

Does this page record my decision?
