Approval before handoff
Approval confirms that content is accurate, suitable for the named audience and zone, and has a defined review or retirement point. The responsible role then hands it off through the organization's configured publishing process.
A handoff record is not an automated schedule. Confirm separately how authorized publishers apply the approved item in the actual signage system.
From request to publishing handoff
Record the decision and the next review point.
-
1
Submit a complete brief
State the target zone, audience, message, owner, approver, requested display window, and retirement condition.
-
2
Check completeness
Return a brief with missing audience, ownership, or date details before review.
-
3
Review accuracy and fit
The approver checks that the message is current, understandable, and appropriate for that zone.
-
4
Record the decision
Note approval or requested changes, the approver role, and the decision date.
-
5
Hand off and set review
An authorized publisher uses the configured publishing process; the content owner tracks the agreed review or expiry date.
