What a zone owner owns
A zone owner is accountable for the screen area's audience, purpose, content fit, and review cadence. Ownership means making or routing content decisions; it does not mean operating a playback scheduler.
In the sample inventory, role names describe responsibilities rather than named employees. Each row gives contributors a clear route for questions and approval.

| Learning corridor | Employees / training area | Course dates and learning reminders | Learning zone owner | Learning content approver | Every two weeks |
Ownership is not the same as publishing permission
A clear rights boundary prevents a submitted item from being mistaken for an approved item.
Who can submit
A contributor proposes content for a specific zone and supplies the needed context.
- Name the audience and intended action.
- Provide a content owner and review or expiry date.
- Request removal when information becomes inaccurate.
Who can approve
The assigned approver confirms accuracy and zone fit; publishing handoff follows the organization's configured process.
- Record approval or requested changes.
- Do not treat submission as approval.
- Route a removal request to the zone owner for decision and handoff.
Zone handoff checklist
- Record the zone name, location, audience, and purpose.
- Assign one accountable owner role and an approver role.
- Set a review cadence the responsible team can maintain.
- Tell contributors how to submit content and request removal.
- When responsibility changes, transfer open items and their next review dates to the new owner.
