Make your benefits choices with clarity

Northstar Services employees can use this hub to compare approved plan materials, prepare for enrollment, and find the right support route.

Northstar Services is a fictional example. Use current approved organization materials for plan-specific answers and decisions.

Printed documents and folders on a desk

Perks and offers are separate from plan coverage

If Northstar Services provides an optional offer, check its current approved source before relying on it.

Check who the offer applies to

Look for the eligible audience, locations, or other stated conditions in the offer source. Ask the benefits owner when applicability is unclear.

Identify the accountable owner

Use the owner named in the current offer information for questions about terms or administration.

Verify the expiry

Check the stated end date or renewal terms in the current source; do not rely on an old announcement or saved copy.

Check that the documents belong together

Worked example: An employee finds a medical plan summary labeled “Plan Year 2025” and an enrollment overview labeled “Plan Year 2026.” Rather than comparing them as a matched set, the employee notes both titles and asks the benefits team which current approved materials apply to their situation. The team’s confirmed source set—not the employee’s guess—becomes the basis for the comparison.

This hub organizes questions; it does not determine coverage, eligibility, or which option is right for an individual.
