A month to learn and connect
Reusable fictional example: a Northstar month page can introduce context, share confirmed events, and make room for voluntary ERG perspectives. Verify the history and cultural context with reliable sources before publishing each edition.
Share context with care
Explain the month
Begin with a concise explanation of the history or focus of the selected month, checked against reliable sources and reviewed for accuracy.
Separate context from activities
Make clear which information is general context and which activities are Northstar-specific.
Invite contributions with consent
Do not expect employees to represent a community or share personal experiences. Invite contributions only with consent, attribute them as agreed, and offer a way to participate without speaking publicly.
Events and ERG voices
Events appear here when the tenant Calendar app is connected and relevant events are published there. Confirm each event's date, location or participation details, accessibility information, and owner in Calendar before sharing it. This section shows live Calendar data; it does not create or verify events.
For ERG perspectives, publish only confirmed contributions with the speaker's permission and agreed attribution. The ERG Directory contains sample profiles, not verified Northstar groups or leaders.
Keep this month page useful
Treat the page as general learning and event information, not as a statement about any employee's identity or participation.
