Overview of Release 12.8

  • New Capabilities for Domain Administrators: This release adds the following new capabilities for domain administrators:
    • Multiple (upto 5) SAML servers can be setup now
    • Sync of groups & group membership now supported for ADFS based login
    • Invite user flow now allows for greater control over invitation emails
    • Fetch from URL feature enhanced with greater control over group membership
    • Audit log improvements
    • Ability to re-label private messages module
    • Additional expiry options for login token
    • Guest & local user account email links updated to work when SAML Auto Redirect is set
    • OAuth2 authorized app URL support added
  • Web Interface – Enhancements & UX Improvements: MangoApps web interface in this release has added the following enhancements:
    • New people widget now comes with ready-to-use lists like New Employees, Recent Awardees etc.
    • New employee recognition & file activity reports
    • Priority IM using important messages
    • Multiple UI/UX improvements e.g. ability to collapse team modules navigation, attachments UI in posts & wiki improved etc
  • Mobile iOS & Android – Enhancements & UX Improvements: MangoApps mobile apps in this release have added the following enhancements:
    • Launch 3rd party mobile apps from MangoApps dashboard (quick links widget) and primary navigation (shortcuts)
    • Improved post viewer & 1 tap experience from post feed to full view
    • Priority IM using important messages
    • Misc improvements e.g., loading performance of company module improved, type-aheads now search co-workers with space in names etc.
  • Desktop & Mac Enhancements: MangoApps desktop & mac apps in this release have added the following enhancements:
    • Priority IM using important messages to encourage quicker response time
    • Misc improvements e.g. real time update of custom status in team member dialog
  • Bug Fixes: Reported issues from earlier version of MangoApps have been fixed.

MangoApps Release 12.8  released to US, Australia, Germany and Asia data centers on Mar 12th, 2018. It will be released to Ireland DC on Mar 14th.
