Overview of Release 12.11
- What’s New For Domain Admins:
- Integrate MangoApps with NetSuite to sync users, companies, groups and group membership
- Ability to assign a personal assistant who can share an update or share a post on behalf of an executive
- Control on auto-provisioning/auto-creation of users in MangoApps in the SSO from Office 365 & GoogleApps flow
- MangoApps as a SAML provider now supports single logout (SLO)
- Ability to enable employees to add multiple work/home addresses to their profile
- Allow or dis-allow sharing of GIFs in your domain
- New Features & Web Interface Enhancements: MangoApps web interface in this release has the following new features & usability improvements:
- Share a status update, a company post or a team post on behalf of the executive
- Share GIFs in news feed, comments, replies, private messages and chat
- New organization chart view that can show upto 500 employees expanded at a time
- Two new system groups for domain admins & intranet admins respectively with auto-membership management
- Search results for multi-words search terms has been improved
- New hashtags widget for your dashboard & pages
- New capabilities to filter announcements & post widgets
- Improved full screen view for trackers
- Ability to set hashtags in bulk for multiple files & folders
- Download user profile information in a vCard format from the user’s profile page
- Ability to duplicate a wiki is now available for all users
- Widget gallery makes it easy to find a widget with search
- Chat messages with special characteristics
- Total views & unique user views added to the post views dialog
- Email subject for announcements & posts related notifications will be set to the post title
- To reduce noise only one notification/news feed would be generated when multiple files are uploaded
- Slider widget now supports upto 25 slides (increased from 10 slides)
- Multiple addresses on the profile page
- Team admins can now get the embed code of their team feeds and embed it in an external system (e.g., SharePoint)
- Team admins have control over turning on or off file sync for a team
- Team admins can add events in bulk from an XLS to the team calendar
- Team admins can control if join option is available for public or private teams

- Mobile Enhancements: MangoApps mobile apps in this release include the following enhancements:
- Ability to invite guest users into a project & group has been added
- Ability to approve requests to join a project & group has been added
- Ability to convert a member to a team admin has been added
- View of company posts, team posts & wikis has been improved to match the view on web
- Ability to keep an audio file / podcast playing in the background has been added
- Quick A-Z scroll for teams
- New actions bar in chat with special messages aggregated
- Upgraded to Android 8 (MangoApps for Android App)
- Desktop & Mac Enhancements: MangoApps desktop & mac apps in this release gets the following improvements
- Lower CPU requirement & improved connection management
- Selective sync per teams’s file sync setting
- Chat actions bar UI updated
- Client performance during file sync improved
- Software Fixes: Reported issues from earlier version of MangoApps have been fixed
- What’s Deprecated In This Release: List of items that are deprecated in MangoApps and would eventually be removed by end of this year
MangoApps Release 12.11 will be live on US data center users on Jul 9th. On Europe (Ireland) data center it goes live on Jul 30th. On Germany, Sydney & Singapore it is expected to go live on Jul 31st.
