Overview of Release 12.10
- What’s New For Domain Admins:
- Upgrade of the technology platform from the operating system to the application stack has been done making this version of MangoApps the most secure cloud platform to-date. As part of this upgrade MangoApps passed an independently conducted vulnerability review that covered OWASP top 10 vulnerabilities including server-side template injection, cross-site scripting, out-of-band resource load, file path manipulation, cross-origin resource sharing, unencrypted communication, SQL injection and more.
- Additional new features added for the domain admins include
- Export of users & user profile information in XLS & CSV formats
- Ability to setup permissions that dis-allow team admins from merging 2 teams
- Ability to jump to manage user portal directly from the user’s profile page
- Ability to re-order custom fields & re-order multiple-choice field values for people, teams and files without deleting & re-adding them
- Ability to delete a user & their complete profile information permanently but keep the content posted (projects, files, posts etc) by transferring them to a system user called “Anonymous”
- Web Usability Improvements: MangoApps web interface in this release includes usability improvements like:
- Notify me for admin posted content only in a team (e.g., for teams with large activity/members).
- View images inside a ZIP without the need to download them first.
- Setup multiple reminders for your todos before & after their due dates to never miss completing your work.
- 1-to-1 video, audio & screen-share with a co-worker from IM bar.
- Mobile Enhancements: MangoApps mobile apps in this release include the following enhancements:
- Easy access to modules with the new primary navigation bar at the bottom
- Ability to setup your notification preference for a team from the mobile app
- Ability to set who receives poll notifications when you create a new poll from the mobile app
- Desktop & Mac Enhancements: MangoApps desktop app in this release
- Uses 50% less CPU on windows than earlier versions
- 1-to-1 video, audio & screen-share with a co-worker from their chat window.
- Supports uploading of very large files (upto 10GB per file) using File Sync on both windows & mac clients.
- Software Fixes: Reported issues from earlier version of MangoApps have been fixed.
- What’s Removed/Changed in this Release: Items that have been changed/removed starting this release.
MangoApps Release 12.10 will go live for US data center users on May 21st
